In Conversation with our #ShayeTribe
We, at Shaye, have always believed in power of sisterhood, a sense of community, and women supporting women. Each piece of clothing we design is created to inspire and empower the woman who wears it. Over time, we have been able to build a community of gorgeous ladies we so lovingly refer to as the #ShayeTribe. We admire each and every one of you, and LOVE seeing your style, your confidence and of course, the way you carry off our pieces.
In an attempt to get to know some of you better, we got up close and personal with some ladies of the #ShayeTribe. We asked them some questions about fashion, style and life – that we’d love to share with you.

Q. What do you look forward to the most these days?
What I look forward to most these days is the Corona vaccine (hehe) and happier days <3
Q. Who is the most stylish woman?
I love Masoom Minawala’s style, I feel like I resonate with her. I also like Blake Lively’s style, OMG I just LOVE her!

Q. Who is the most stylish and empowering woman?
The most stylish and empowering woman for me is my mother. No doubt. She has always been very confident with her style, with whatever she wears and how she dresses. She has always stuck to her own style and let her personality shine through. This is something I’ve learnt from her and I find it extremely empowering.
Q. Best Piece of advice.
We should work on ourselves more. And concentrate on what we want. We get really occupied with what others want and what they may be thinking. Well, I guess this is like a lesson I’ve learnt but I hope people can learn to embrace themselves more.

Q. What does style mean to you?
To me, style means looking fashionable and feeling comfortable at the same time. Because that’s when I can truly step out in style!
Q. Best Piece of advice.
Have a signature style of your own and dress accordingly!
Q. Who is the most stylish and empowering woman?
I have admired several women. So, I’ll name a few – Rekha, Indira Gandhi, Nancy Pelosi and among influencers – Victoria (Inthefrow), Olivia (livpurvis)
Q. What Shaye piece do you love?
I absolutely love every Shaye piece! The Peacock shirt jacket and Red Wrap skirt are my favourites.

An extension of one’s personality.
Q. What do you look forward to the most these days?
Binge watching a show over the weekend after a busy week.

Michelle Obama
Q. What piece of Shaye do you love or have your eye on and why?
I love the Black floral maxi dress – its my go to no matter what the occasion.
